Effektiv Facebook Content Marketing

On the 8th of January 2018, I created a Facebook page, apparently with 0 followers, published by newswire. This would change quite quickly with the help of content marketing.

31 days later the page has 150,842 followers and about 118k likes. I know what you’re thinking.

”How the hell did you do that?”

”Show me the page”

”I also want” Content marketing, or content marketing as some maniacs бонгакамс call it .. is difficult.

What should one have for strategy as well?

What kind of content should we create?

Which platform should we invest in?

I do not have the answers to your questions, mostly because I do not know who you are or what you do, but I thought I would share a content marketing strategy that obviously works filthy well.

The great thing about this strategy is that anyone can execute it.

You do not need a big budget, you do not have to be the most interesting person in the world, and you do not have to spend 3 months to see results at https://xn--trdlsa-hrlurar-mib8ye.se/ .

To sum up my strategy in a few words: The page I started on the 8th of January had a goal of inspiring people to follow their dreams.

My problem was that even though I myself have some inspiring stories, I did not feel that it was good enough to give that WOW feeling.

One thought struck me: what would happen if I found really good content that already exists and advertised it?

I found a fantastically interesting interview with Anthony Bourdain where he tells about how he, as a 44-year-old chef, had basically given up on his dreams of traveling around the world, eating well and writing about his experiences.

Until one day he wrote an article, sent it to the New Yorker who are known for publishing very few articles from unknown randoms.

Long story short: they published his article and a few days later he had a book contract and a check for almost half a million kronor.

I cut together a video from the interview and uploaded it on my brand new Facebook page.

Then I went into Facebook Ads Manager, and advertised the video for ”People who like Anthony Bourdain”, and then I went to bed.

When I woke up the next day, the page had a couple of hundred likes, and people shared the video like a thousand.

The growth increased every day for about a week, and tens of thousands of people followed my FB page.

Ok, this with content marketing is easy, I thought.

So I created another video about a similar overnight success story, and it completely flopped.

I had to remove the Anthony Bourdain video due to copyright issues with some clips in the video.

When carrying out a strategy like this, it is important to give credit to those who own the material, whether it is audio, video or video.

Most people do not mind that someone promotes their content, but this is not always the case.

Simple .. List a few things and start promoting content ..

  • Who creates great content, preferably in audio or video format, that has access to your target audience?
  • Create a list of specific videos etc they made that you can promote
  • Add any value where you can, I took videos that did not have subtitles and added them before I uploaded them on Facebook. This is super important as almost 80% of all videos on FB are viewed without the audio on.
  • Make sure your Call To Action is crystal clear and you are ready to get big doses of attention. If one of your videos goes viral, you want to take advantage of all the clicks to the website, etc.
  • Advertise the video on the relevant platform depending on your target audience
